Did you know when you call your voice mail. *86 it uses your minutes.
How to Use your Mobile2Mobile Minutes to get your voicemail.
1) Open phone, press Menu
2) Press left to go to Messaging screen
3) Go down to Voicemail (6) and press the top left softkey for Settings
4) Press 6 (Edit Voice Mail #)
5) Delete *86 and type in your phone # with a 1 infront of it. 12145551234
At the end of your number type P (To get a P, press the right softkey for Pause), then your 4 digit voicemail password
(it will look like this:1-214-555-1234P2222) (where 2222 is your password)(where 12145551234 is your mobile #)
6) Click SAVE
Now you can just hold down 1 and it will call your voicemail and will not ask you to type in your password.
Also you will be using Mobile2Mobile minutes to listen to your VM. If you dont believe me, dial #646 and write down your minute usage. Then dial your VM using the method above. You will see Net Peak go up by 1 min.
But if still if you
1) Open phone, press Menu
2) Press left to go to Messaging screen
3) Go down click Voicemail
4) Send
It will dial *86 and use your minutes.
So from now on. Hold down 1 to go to voicemail unless you change your voicemail shortcut and you program another number or button to access your voicemail.
Still can't program the phone to auto sign in to the voicemail like below.

This doesn't work for Verizon with VX8100. To set it correctly you need to use this instead:
1) Open phone, press Menu
2) Press left to go to Messaging screen
3) Go down to Voicemail (6) and press the top left softkey for Settings
4) Press 6 (Edit Voice Mail #)
5) Delete *86 and type in your phone # with a 1 infront of it. 12145551234
At the end of your number type P (To get a P, press the right softkey for Pause, and select (2) for Pause), then # sign, and then your 4 digit voicemail password (it will look like this:1-214-555-1234P#2222) (where # prompts for password) (and where 2222 is your password) (where 12145551234 is your mobile #)
6) Click SAVE
7) Hold down 1 to call voicemail. |
